What is Fadderuke?

Fadderuke is the student orientation week, filled with social and academic events to give you the best possible start to your studies.

Do I need a ticket?

Most events are free, but some of the main concerts and parties require a ticket. You can buy a festival pass to get access to all ticketed events.

Where can I find the schedule?

The full schedule is available on the main page of this website. You can see featured events and daily schedules.

Is there an age limit?

For most events, you need to be 18 years or older. Please check the specific event details for more information.

How do I sign up for events that need registration?

Open the event in the weekly schedule and click the sign-up button. If an event has limited capacity, spots are first come, first served.

Can I get a refund if I cannot attend?

Ticket refunds depend on the organizer and ticket platform. Check the event details first, and contact us if you need help with a specific purchase.

Are the venues accessible?

We aim to use accessible venues whenever possible. Accessibility notes are listed per event, and you can contact us in advance for specific assistance.

Is there food and non-alcoholic options at events?

Yes. Most larger events offer non-alcoholic drinks, and many have food nearby or on site. Check each event card for practical details.

What should I bring to Fadderuke events?

Bring valid ID, your ticket if required, weather-appropriate clothing, and a charged phone. For day activities, comfortable shoes are recommended.

Can I join as a volunteer or buddy next year?

Absolutely. Recruitment opens before the next semester. Follow our channels and contact us if you want updates when applications open.

Where can I pick up my festival wristband?

Wristband pickup information is coming soon. We will publish place and opening hours as soon as it is confirmed.

Can I bring my own drinks into the Fadderuke area?

Yes, in the dedicated bring-your-own area. Bringing your own drinks is not allowed inside the concert area.

Do I need a valid student ID?

Yes. You must have a valid student ID, and your semester fee must be paid.

Am I a buddy or a first-year student?

If you are starting at the university now, you are a first-year student in the buddy program, whether you start a bachelor or a master. Returning students are buddies.

What should I do if I get sick during Fadderuke?

Stay home and rest. Inform your buddy group if needed, and contact medical services if symptoms are serious or get worse.
